Electronic House magazine honors the H76 widescreen home theater projector with its prestigious Product of the Year award at CEDIA 2003
 

Just three short months after its world premiere, the sub-$6,000 Optoma H76™ widescreen home theater projector, which features HD-2 Digital Light Processing™ technology from Texas Instruments, received the prestigious Product of the Year award from Electronic House magazine at the 2003 CEDIA Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana.

awards the EzPro 731 with a five-star review and a Best Value rating; Cites the low-cost SVGA projector “puts more powerful devices to shame”

 

In the October 2003 online edition of PC Pro magazine, the Optoma EzPro 731 received a five-star rating from reviewer Allstair Dabbs and was named as a Best Value product by the publication.

Tested for portability, ease of use, image quality, noise level, and options, the EzPro 731 received accolades for its features ranging from its lightweight and “stylish” casing to its low noise level to its “rock solid” image production — even when compared to projectors costing five-times its price. Dabbs noted that the projector’s ability to, “emulate widescreen effects [and] we can imagine the EP731 being popular for

home cinema as well as business presentations.” He added that the projector also provided computer gaming with, “a compelling cinematic feel.”

France’s PC Expert magazine calls the EzPro 725, “the essential projection tool for mobile professionals” (Translated to from French to English)

In the September/October 2003 issue of PC Expert magazine, the publication’s editorial team lauds the 2.5-pound Optoma EzPro 725™ for its full range of high-demand features ranging from its use of double data rate Digital Light Processing technology™ to its elaborate connectivity options, multi-standard compatibility, and easy-to-manage functions. And because of its incredibly compact size, the publication refers

LA Audio File’s Kevin Nakano Recommends
Taking a “Serious Look” at the Optoma H56
In the July online edition of LA Audio File, editor-in-chief Kevin Nakano puts the H56 through a rigorous field test. Setting up the projector in the ultimate home theater test environment, Nakano evaluates everything
from its ease-of-installation to its high-definition image reproduction to its intuitive menu navigation capabilities, and calls the H56, “a candidate for any serious home theater installation.”

Concludes Nakano, “The Optoma H56 is a great performer for the money. The result is a picture that can please most viewers for less than half the price of most high definition projectors.”
