OPTOMA WINS “BEST OF SHOW” AWARDS AT INFOCOMM 2019
Optoma Wins Top Honors from ProjectorCentral Editors for P1 Smart 4K UHD Laser All-In-One Home Entertainment System and ProAV ZK1050 4K DLP Laser Projector.
ProAV ZK1050 4K DLP Laser Projector wins “BEST OF SHOW” AWARD from AV Technology at the same time.
Optoma, a world-leading manufacturer of large display products, was awarded the ProjectorCentral Best of Show at InfoComm 2019 for both the P1 Smart 4K UHD Laser Ultra Short Throw Projector and the ProScene ZK1050 4K DLP Laser Projector. In the meantime, the ProScene ZK1050 was also honored with “BEST OF SHOW” award from AV Technology. Optoma’s products were chosen from dozens of projectors at the show for their level of innovation, quality design and noteworthy technical features.
“With progressive new models in both the home theater and commercial categories, Optoma gave us good cause to recognize their achievements at this year’s InfoComm,” said Rob Sabin, ProjectorCentral editor-in-chief. “As an all-in-one, laser-driven, ultra-short-throw 4K entertainment center, the P1 is on the leading edge of a trend that could introduce projection to an entirely new class of consumers. And the company’s ProScene ZK1050 pushes the envelope by hitting all of the hot buttons for A/V pros servicing the most demanding business and entertainment environments: a long-life laser light engine driving an incredible 10,000 lumens of brightness, super-sharp 4K resolution, and installer-friendly features that include a choice of lenses, flexible lens shift, correction tools and built-in edge-blending. Both products are well-deserving of ProjectorCentral’s InfoComm 2019 Best of Show award,” added Sabin.
“Once again, InfoComm brought forth a cascade of ingenuity, and this exuberance for innovation was readily apparent in the breadth of our field of awards entries,” Matt Pruznick, Editor of AV Technology said. “With so many outstanding contenders, the process of narrowing down the list to this select group of winners was a painstaking endeavor. It is with the utmost pride that I congratulate the 2019 recipients of the AV Technology’s Best of Show Awards—your products are a shining example of excellence in the industry.”
Gordon Wu, Vice President of Optoma APAC at Optoma said: “Once again, we’re extremely proud to say that both P1 and ZK1050 4K DLP Laser Projector win “Best of Show” at InfoComm 2019 since Optoma announced and demonstrated this ground-breaking home theater solution at CES in January. Also, both P1 and ZK1050 will be released soon in 2019 respectively.” “Looking forward, Optoma will keep upgrading its 4K projection technology, and moving towards to dominate the smart 4K industry.” Gordon continued.
