Full Lens Shift

Optoma projectors with full lens shift provide off-axis vertical and horizontal adjustments for complete installation flexibility without image distortion or pixelation.

Simplify installations by transmitting uncompressed video/audio and control commands using standard shielded CAT6 cabling up to 328 feet (100m).

WUXGA Resolution

Where details really matter, the full WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution offers 15-percent more pixels than 1080p and 60-percent more than SXGA+. This enables unscaled Full HD video and extra detail.

DLP Technology®

DLP® (Digital Light Processing) is a proprietary technology from Texas Instruments™ that offers digital projection with higher contrast, faster response time, good pixel structure and virtually no color degradation.

Optoma and Navitar Debut Interchangeable Lenses for ProScene Projectors

Rave Publications,
April 29, 2019

Optoma and Navitar jointly announced two new interchangeable lenses compatible with Optoma ProScene projector models — including a long throw and extra-long throw Navitar NuView replacement lens. Fixed lens projectors are an industry challenge, limiting installation options in environments such as houses of worship, auditoriums, entertainment venues and retail spaces. With throw ratios up to 15.24:1, Navitar’s extra-long throw NuView lenses allows projectors to be placed more than 100 feet from a projection surface.

“Lab Tests: What the Meters Say

“BRIGHTNESS. The ZU850 is rated at 8000 lumens. Our test unit equipped with the optional BX-CTA06 lens delivered 8530 lumens in Bright and Constant Power modes thus exceeding its rating . . . most uncommon performance for the majority of today’s projectors.

“BRIGHTNESS UNIFORMITY. The ZU850 exhibited excellent uniformity of about 90%, which is why the ANSI lumen rating of 8000 is not much below the center spec of 8200 lumens.”
