3D

It is widely accepted that a larger screen creates a greater 3D effect. Making even the largest 3D TVs seem tiny, why not
captivate your audience with a huge (greater than 100”) 3D projection? The inherent speed of DLP® works in perfect
harmony to create the most exciting and immersive 3D experience available anywhere. Step into the future with 3D
projection technology from Optoma.

  • What is Active 3D?
    Active 3D

Using the inherent speed of DLP® technology, Optoma 3D projectors output video and images at more than double the normal speed of other displays, enabling full screen and full color, stereoscopic 3D. The 3D effect is generated by displaying the left and right views sequentially. The active 3D glasses (battery powered) synchronize with the projected image to filter the correct view to each eye. The human brain then combines the two images to make it jump into life. Optoma 3D projectors support active 3D using compatible Optoma 3D DLP Link glasses.

  • What is Passive 3D?
    Passive 3D

Showing life-size 3D without a huge investment in specialized eyewear is essential for commercial venues with large public audiences. Passive 3D uses polarized light to separate the left and right views to each eye. The 3D glasses do not require batteries but require a special type of silver projection screen for the polarized light.

    Single Projector

Using low-cost Passive 3D Glasses & only a single projector, this cost effective solution is ideal for Leisure and Hospitality
    venues.
