Sales Support Representative - Fremont, CA

SUMMARY: The Sales Support Representative serves as the primary handler of data entry for the Sales teams. This role also will provide support on a variety of general office duties. Our ideal candidate has exceptional organizational skills and draws energy from a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Process customer purchase orders in Oracle Optoma system.
  • Process customer purchase orders in EDI system
  • Order acknowledgment to customers by email or phone
  • Follow thru on completion of Sales Orders by reviewing product availability
  • Ability to multitask and maintain organization of backorders and daily workload
  • Daily review of product availability for backorder release
  • Maintain filing of Approved Price Lists for accounts
  • Communicate PO discrepancies to Sales Managers and customers
  • Work closely with other departments
  • Provide inventory ETA’s to customer and sales team
  • Provide shipping and tracking information to customers

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred ; or 1-2 years sales support experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle and EDI purchase order system
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Office (Outlook and Excel in particular)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • A team player with a high level of dedication
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Must be self-motivated and able to take initiative
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
