The WPS-Dongle is compatible with all Optoma SVGA, XGA, WXGA and 1080p* projectors using the supplied DC adapter.

*WPS-Dongle only supports up to WXGA (1280x800) resolution on 1080p projectors. Some older projectors may not be compatible.

WPS Dongle – Setup and installation tutorial

Use your WPS Dongle to connect the projector for wireless projection.

Step.1 - Plug WPS to projector VGA connector and tighten the locking screws.

Then, turn on WPS. (via projector menu or DC adapter)

Step.2 - Turn on projector and select “VGA” source.

When Projector shows the welcome screen below, it indicates the WPS is ready to receive a signal.

Step.3 - Download and install the WPS software on your computer.

Open your browser and enter the IP address to access the WPS web home page.

(The default IP is “192.168.100.10” or refers to the IP address shown on the left corner of projector screen.)

Then, please download the client software. (Select the correct one for your computer operating system.)

Step.4 - Connect to WPS wireless.

Entering the mobile phone or flat panel, or your laptop wireless setting, search and to connect the network shows in "WPS-Dongle ".

Step.5 – Launch the “WPS” client software

After installation completed, a shortcut to the WPS client software will appear on your desktop, and make sure your personal firewall allows WPS software to pass through.

Launch the “WPS” client software, choose and connect to “WPS-Dongle” network, and enter the user name and login code. (You can see the login code on the projector screen)

Once done, you can start using WPS Dongle for wireless projection on big screen!
