We were planning to have an outdoor movie night. I was considering several projectors. I decided on the GT760A eventually as I wanted to be able to use it inside our house as well as outside. Upon opening the package (the projector was packed carefully in a plastic bubble bag), plugged the projector, turned in on, hooked up a laptop and we were watching on a wall. The audio on the projector is OK – you’d probably want to use a sound system if you want to watch movies on this. It does run hot, but then again, most projectors run hot. Will just have to watch out for this. Also, the remote sensor is on the front of the projector (right beside the lens) – kind of inconvenient to use the remote with this setup. The fan will be loud at the start, but when you have audio, the sound from the fan gets drowned out. Only 1 HDMI port – use an HDMI switch if you need more than 1 source. Overall, very happy with the quality of the projector and the video.
