Optoma Group, Optoma France S.A.S, and Optoma China Co., Ltd. established

2003
  • Debuts the world’s first 65-inch DLP® projection television, which subsequently received a CES Innovations Award.
  • Optoma Scandinavia AS established

Unveils MovieTime™ – world’s first all-in-one DVD projector

2006

Launches HD81 – world’s first 1080P home cinema projector

2007

HD65 is “Highly Recommended” by Projector Central for excellent portability and price/performance

  • Unveils the world’s smallest pico projector – PK101, a Time magazine ‘Gadget of the Year’
