Optoma Z series
The Optoma Z series is designed with sustainability, ease of use, and enjoyment in mind. Its ultra-compact chassis is made from 50% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastics to minimize landfill waste and reduce carbon emissions.
Energy-efficient laser technology
With the latest laser projection technology, the Z series features a higher power conversion efficiency, which allows it consumes up to 45% less electricity compared to compared to lamp-based projectors.

Chassis made with 50% Post-Consumer Recycled plastic
We work closely with our suppliers to incorporate eco-friendlier post-consumer recycled plastics (PCR) into the chassis of the Z series. This helps minimize landfill waste and carbon emissions generated from virgin plastics, which take up to three times more energy to produce*.

Made compact for a reduced carbon footprint
The Z series was designed with carbon emissions reduction in mind. We achieved this through the development of a more compact product. Through the optimization of components and industrial design, the Z series has a compact product and packaging sizes allow 2X more products carried per container to reduce logistical carbon footprint.
Compact modules
- Replaced larger thermal modules with compact heatsinks
- Reduced phosphor wheel from 67mm to 54mm
- Replaced larger low-voltage power supply (LVPS) with a power adapter
Packaging made with recycled, reusable, and FSC-certified paper
Cushioning plays a critical role in ensuring products are protected during transport. After evaluation and testing, we replaced EPE foam with recycled paper and molded paper without compromising the durability of the packaging. Up to 97% of the Z series’ packaging is recyclable with the Cushioning made from 100% recycled paper.
